The Short Version

Zyro works exactly like WhatsApp Web. We CANNOT read your personal chats. The bot only activates when YOU type "zyro" — all other messages are not even possible for us to see.

How Does Zyro Connect to WhatsApp?

Zyro connects to your WhatsApp as a Linked Device — the same technology that powers WhatsApp Web and WhatsApp Desktop. When you scan the QR code, you are linking Zyro as one of your companion devices. This is an official WhatsApp feature supported by Meta.

Zero Chat Storage Policy

We do not store your conversations. Messages are processed in real-time and exist only in temporary memory. There are no chat logs, no message databases, no way for anyone — including us — to read your past conversations. Even if our server were compromised, an attacker would find zero WhatsApp messages.

How We Protect Your Data

End-to-end encryption — All WhatsApp messages are encrypted using the Signal Protocol. Not even WhatsApp or Meta can read them.
Owner-only access — The bot only responds to the account owner. No one else can trigger your bot.
No chat storage — We do not store your WhatsApp messages on disk. Ever.
No message logging — Our system logs only record that a message was received, not what it said.
Firewall protected — Our servers are protected by enterprise-grade firewalls with only essential ports open.
Brute-force protection — Automated systems block suspicious login attempts.
You control your data — Delete uploaded documents, disconnect Google Drive, and remove all training data anytime from your dashboard.
Unlink anytime — Open WhatsApp, go to Settings, then Linked Devices, tap Zyro, then Log Out. Done. All connection is severed instantly.
Auto-deletion — If you disconnect and do not reconnect within 10 days, all your data is automatically deleted from our servers permanently.

Technical Details

Zyro uses WhatsApp's official Linked Device protocol (multi-device architecture).
The bot runs as a passive linked device — it does NOT mark itself as "online" and does NOT interfere with your phone's notifications.
Messages are processed only when they begin with the trigger word. All other messages are not even possible for the bot to access.
Our bot library is open-source (MIT licensed) and community-audited. It only connects to WhatsApp's own servers — verified by source code inspection.
We use industry-standard AI infrastructure for processing. Only your "zyro" commands are sent — never personal chats.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can Zyro read my personal chats?

No. Absolutely not. Zyro only processes messages that start with "zyro". All other messages are not even possible for us to see — they are discarded before any processing happens.

Is this the same as WhatsApp Web?

Yes, exactly. Scanning the QR code links Zyro as a companion device, just like WhatsApp Web or Desktop. WhatsApp officially supports up to 4 linked devices.

Can you send messages as me?

The bot only sends responses to YOUR commands. It never initiates conversations with your contacts or sends messages on your behalf without your explicit instruction (like scheduled rules you set up yourself).

What happens if your server gets hacked?

Even in the worst case scenario, an attacker would find zero WhatsApp conversations on our server. We do not store chat messages on disk — they exist only in temporary memory during active conversations.

What happens to my data if I stop using Zyro?

Simply unlink the device from WhatsApp settings. If you do not reconnect within 10 days, all your data (documents, rules, settings) is automatically deleted from our servers permanently.

Can I unlink Zyro at any time?

Yes, instantly. Go to WhatsApp, then Settings, then Linked Devices, tap on the Zyro device, then Log Out. The connection is severed immediately.

Will linking Zyro affect my WhatsApp notifications?

No. Zyro runs in passive mode and does not interfere with your phone's notifications. You will continue receiving all your messages and notifications normally.
